WCU Cares Part 2 for Faculty and Staff

WCU Cares Part 2 is an interactive, small group experience that delves into case scenarios pertaining to situations that involve individuals struggling with suicidality. This program does not include role playing, but rather meaningful discussions around:
1. Ways to approach individuals of concern.
2. Questions to ask individuals of concern.
3. How to utilize resources available to best help individual of concern.
4. How to care for yourself in these high stress situations.
This training is intended for anyone who has completed WCU Cares Part 1 and is interested in deeper exploration and application of materials presented. Exceptions can be made if someone has had personal or professional experiences that have enriched their understanding of assisting someone experiencing suicidality.
