2026 Brothers of Excellence Conference Program Proposal Form

The 10th Annual Brothers of Excellence Conference (2026) will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00am-5:30pm in Sykes Student Union at 110. W Rosedale Avenue, West Chester, PA, 19382. 

The Brothers of Excellence Conference was created to identify a social issue that impacts Men of Color, explore their civic leadership roles in connection with their multiple identities, and recognize resources and individuals to create a sense of community of support on campus. This year's theme for the conference is "Legacy & Leadership: Preparing the Next Generation".

Please complete this form to submit a proposal for a 45–55-minute breakout session. 

Here are few ideas for presentation:

1. The Power of Brotherhood in Leadership
  • Trust & Collaboration: Brotherhood creates a foundation of trust, allowing leaders to work together more effectively.
  • Empowerment: Strong relationships enable leaders to empower others, fostering growth within the network.
  • Mentorship & Accountability: Leaders within a brotherhood mentor others, holding them accountable to their goals.
2. Building a Network That Transcends Boundaries
  • Diversity & Inclusion: A network that embraces diversity across industries, cultures, and backgrounds leads to richer growth.
  • Global Connections: Breaking geographical boundaries to form relationships that expand opportunities on a global scale.
  • Cross-Industry Growth: Connections across different fields help identify innovative solutions and diverse growth opportunities.
3. Growing Together: Collective vs. Individual Growth
  • Shared Goals: Collective growth is fueled by setting and achieving common goals as a group.

Timeline: 
  • Program Submissions are due March 3rd, 2026. 
  • The BOE planning committee will review proposals.  
  • Presenters will be notified of program decisions March 6th, 2026.
