Hey Golden Rams!
 
Welcome to Day 2 of Welcome Week – Monday August 23. We hope to see you at some of our exciting events today!
  • Counseling Center Information Session, Sykes 209
  • Office of Services for Students with Disabilities Information Session, Sykes 210
  • Sex Signals: CORE EXPERIENCE, Asplundh Concert Hall
  • Public Safety Overview (with Remi the Police Dog): CORE EXPERIENCE, Sykes Theater
  • Mixtroz: Meet your Classmates!, Ram Park
  • Glow Mini Golf, Sykes Ballrooms
  • Comedian Maya May (virtual recording option will be available afterwards), Asplundh Concert Hall
Please bring your student ID with you to all events and have your event registration handy! An entire schedule for Welcome Week can be found on RamConnect. Make sure you register for events that spark your interest before they fill up! Space is limited, and masks will be required at all indoor events.
 
If you need help navigating Welcome Week, our orientation leaders will be at a Welcome Week information booth on the residential quad from 10 AM until 2 PM in their famous purple polos! Feel free to stop by and they will answer any questions you may have.
 
Don’t forget- there are some core experiences that all first-year students are expected to participate in. Please make sure you register for one of each of the following events:
  • Athletics Survey (virtual)
  • Sex Signals (in person or live virtual options)
  • Public Safety (in person)
  • Diversity Speaker Mohammad Bilal (in person or a virtual recording option that will be available afterwards)
  • A Better High Speaker Matt Bellace (in person or live virtual options)
