The 8th annual WCU Global Hispanic Film Festival 2026 - Virtual Edition runs from September 28 to November 2, 2026. Our festival is a chance to see award-winning international films and get to know Spanish-speaking regions across Latin America, the Caribbean, the US, Europe, and Africa during Hispanic Heritage Month. Each film will be streamed for a week. The festival is directed by West Chester University professors Dr. Iliana Pagán-Teitelbaum and Dr. Tia Malkin-Fontecchio. It is free and open to the public. The festival is brought to you by the College of Arts and Humanities and the Department of Languages and Cultures in collaboration with Latin American and Latinx Studies-LALS, Latinx Communities Conference, LASO, and WCUIAA with the support of Pragda, SPAIN arts & culture, and the Secretary of State for Culture of Spain.

Directed by Dr. Iliana Pagán-Teitelbaum, with Dr. Tia Malkin-Fontecchio, Co-Director; Madison Harkness, Graduate Assistant, Assistant Director for Festival Marketing and Outreach; Emely Pabón, Latino American Student Organization-LASO President, Co-Sponsor.
