About Us...

est. 2023

Mock Trial is a simulation of a courtroom trial. It allows members to experience the legal process firsthand by assuming the roles of lawyers and witnesses. Cases are determined on an annual basis by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA).

Visit the official AMTA website here.

Mock Sentencing is a simulation of the matters following a trial. Members take on the roles of lawyers and other courtroom personnel to practice presenting arguments and applying sentencing laws to a hypothetical case.

Why Join?

Mock trial enhances public speaking, critical thinking, argumentation, and teamwork.

Members will gain an understanding of the legal system through firsthand experience with courtroom procedures, the roles of actors in the legal system, and the complexities of legal proceedings.

Members will also have the opportunity to interact with judges, lawyers, and law students.
