Mission The National Association of Black Journalists provides on and off campus programming centered around media and journalism. They advocate on behalf of students of color, promote diversity in media at West Chester and around the world, assist in the success of students interested in media, and network with aspiring and professional journalists across the country.
Membership BenefitsThe purpose of the National Association for Black Journalists is to give Black and other students of color for West Chester University a place to showcase their art and media pieces. This is a place for any and all kinds of artwork and media to be presented in a professional manner. The Blacklight, our publication and column, is a composition of what students the at West Chester have created. We created the Blacklight to showcase the many different media projects of West Chester students. The media industry is very diverse and the same goes for the pieces of work that come out of the students. Understanding that there needed to be one place to store it all for exhibition. We are also shown in the Quad newspaper in the Features section.
National Association of Black Journalists has a total of 240 points.
