Hey, all you NAfME-C Pookie-dooks!
I hope this email is finding you well! We are trucking through the semester, and I hope you are all making sure that you're taking care of yourselves and staying healthy amidst the academic season.
This year, our the National Association for Music Educators-Collegiate is participating in WCU's Pack the Pantry Resource Pantry Challenge!

So... What are we doing???
Through the month of November we'll be collecting shelf-stable food items, personal care items, and other resource pantry essentials to donate to West Chester University's Resource Pantry. Donations will be accepted starting Monday November 10th through Friday, December 5th. All donations can be deposited into the labelled collection bin in the 2nd floor lounge or collected at our November meetings. The top contributing organizations will recieive funding based on a point system as detailed below!
Below you will find a list of acceptable items and their "point" value. While it is not mandatory for you to donate an item, each item will help somebody in need and every contribution is greatly appreciated! I hope you'll all consider donating something, as this extends towards a greater cause and provides food security and support for people who need it most in our community. No contribution is too small!!!
ALSO! Reminder: Our fundraising committee is holding a bake sale from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm on Monday, November 10th in the 2nd floor swope lounge. If you'd like to participate by working a shift at the table or donating a baked good you may sign up using this google document: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EbY8tGoK8A7MShWsIL4EEAPJrqWfzOwKX9yd0HkChtc/edit?gid=0#gid=0
Can't stay for a shift? Consider stopping by to check out our treats! We'll also have Nafme-C merchandise like crewnecks and tshirts available for purchase! (If you haven't seen them, they're really cute and our secretary, Angela Dean, made all of the designs!!)

Feel free to reach out with any questions or comments! On behalf of our executive board we are more than happy to help and are here to support you all in whatever way we can!
