Students in the NOW Music Society have the opportunity to participate in the historical tradition of music composition at WCU through music sharing, composer talks, and the hosting of an annual new music concert.
Meetings at NOW typically include writing sessions, composition challenges, music sharing, and discussion of music.
The NOW Music Society brings the many music creators at WCU together for meaningful discussion and music-related activities. We aim to hold a couple composer talks a year, where a renowned composer speaks to the group about their work in a forum-like setting.
