The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) aims to connect students of the Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) major, as well as provide them with opportunities for volunteering and fundraising in the community. Through such events, students will gain knowledge and background on topics such as speech, hearing, communication, and more to assist them in their educational journey
NSSLHA provides benefits to CSD students in every level of their coursework. We believe academic success is grounded in having a strong network of supportive individuals; therefore, our organization seeks to fosters relationships with faculty members and students. We also strive to provide members with opportunities to advance their knowledge of the field by inviting different professionals to our meetings to share their insights. In addition, our team seeks to organize volunteer events that encourage community engagement.
Although WCU has announced remote learning for the fall semester, NSSLHA will continue to be a resource to CSD students! We remain committed to supporting our members through their professional endeavors, so tune in for our virtual meetings and events!
