To report news pertaining to the university and beyond in a fair and impartial manner.

To provide staff members with the opportunity to gain an appreciation for and knowledge of journalism and newspaper publication.

To provide timely, informative, entertaining and accurate information concerning and affecting the university and local community.

Membership Benefits
The Quad is one of the longest-standing organizations on-campus. We have various opportunities for students of all majors and minors to get involved with community journalism and media. We have various paid positions that are on our editorial board (like Senior Editors, Assistant Section Editors, Copy Editors, Online Editors, Graphic Designers etc.). As well as various unpaid opportunities for students who are more engaged like Staff Writers, Quadcasters, Staff Photographers, Digital Journalists, etc. which are all depended on the number articles/podcasts/photographs, etc. they have created in adherence with our bylaws. These students, and our paid staff, receive a free T-shirt as well as the opportunity to get real world experience at a news organization, have their work published, and put both things on their resumes. We also have tons of other unpaid opportunities to get involved, and even are in the process of currently revamping our internships!
