We'll be meeting today in Mitchell 107 to talk about Тыва! Bring your blue and yellow flags and trans-siberian tickets. We'll be meeting today at four, but through a quorum that I took from some of the members about the meeting time, we'll be changing it to 4:00 on Wednesdays starting next week. I'll post a recurring event on the website (recently updated with new photos from the markets we visit and last's semester's Russian Play!) and send out more reminders beforehand. We'll also talk about the trip to Netcost in Philly, which we've penciled in for Sunday 10/19 from 8-4. I think after today's meeting I'll send out a google form about who wants to come, who can drive, if anyone's taking public transit or the train, etc. I'm also open for feedback on restaurants to patronize afterwards! I'm hoping to mix it up from Uzbekistan because their plov leaves a whole lot to be desired. In the area I've tried Saffran (https://maps.app.goo.gl/NHRr7duZMkjWhmVr5), very good Uzbek and Russian and space for large parties, but recently a new Uyghur restaurant was opened nearby, which serves the classic noodle dish lagman.
