Hello everyone,

Welcome to week 5 of this fall semester.

Anyone interested in the SPS Paint Ball trip, please email me to sign up.

This week, REU physics students will be giving a brief presentation about their experiences this summer.

SPS weekly tutoring will be available for anyone interested. The times are as follows:

Tuesday

11:00-12:00

 

Thursdays

2:00pm -3:00pm


Fantastic news!

University of Delaware Professor Dr. Matt Doty will be at our school on Wednesday, October 5th, from 2:30 – 3:30 pm in SECC 372, giving a session on Quantum Information Science and Engineering Masters and Ph.D. program.

2023 APS CUWiP (January 20-22, 2023)

The Pennsylvania State University is very pleased to host the APS Conferences for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) on January 20-22, 2023. The application site opened on Monday, August 29, 2022, and will close promptly at 5 PM ET on Monday, October 3, 2022. They will be providing support for lodging and meals for attendees.

 

Motivation for Week 5

 

Times may be tricky, so, as an underpaid, self-referential undergrad, what is there to do? Become tricker than the initial trickeriee, rise above, just not so high because we are delicate creatures after all that should not be exposed to the sun light for more than absolutely necessary. Our blue light-induced pupils are much too majestic for such primitive endeavors.
