Join FarmerJawn founder Christa Barfield and Farmer Bri (Briana Mills-Walker), FarmerJawn’s Director of Education and Research, for an evening exploring farmer resiliency and the challenges facing our food system.

Join us on October 15th at 5pm in SECC 108 for the start of the program. The program will open with spoken word, followed by a 40-minute lecture from Christa on agriculture, climate, food security, labor and the role of farmers in building stronger food systems.

We’ll then transition into an interactive Q&A over a Food Preservation Grazing Table in the SECC Food Lab led by Farmer Bri, using fermentation and preserved foods to explore resiliency, reducing food waste and extending the life of the harvest.
