Mission
The WCU Equestrian Team aims to allow members to take part in English intercollegiate horse shows and activities, develop a strong sense of sportsmanship and team spirit, and help members develop their skills and encourage people's interest in horses as well as the English discipline of riding. The Equestrian club consists of English riding discipline only with a strong focus on equitation.

Membership Benefits
This is many of our members’ first chance to compete due to how expensive and inaccessible the sport is
Roughly 90% of our team members work at farms to be able to sustain riding once our season ends
WCU allows us to connect the public with horses, many students have never experienced this before
Collegiate competition removes the monetary aspect and allows us to all compete on equal grounds, focusing on actual talent
DOES NOT require prior experience, all welcome to join
IHSA is only time horseback riding is a team sport, we never had teams to compete with growing up
