I wanted to extend my thanks to all of you for attending our first GPS meeting last Wednesday! We are grateful and excited about your turnout! For those who missed our first meeting no worries, here are some important things to know:
- September 18th (this Wed) is the BPMC Involvement Fair! If you are in an FYE class, please feel free to stop by our table to meet the board & some current members.
- September 20th (this Friday) is Park(ing) Day! GPS will have some hammocks out and available, please feel free to utilize them. Learn more here: What is Park(ing) Day?
I am very excited to announce that we will have a GPS Shirt Competition!!!!
- we want a Geography & Planning Society/Department design for the club shirt & for our faculty/staff that will be long-lasting
- we will accept submissions for shirt ideas/designs until October 5th
- submissions should be sent to geoplanwcu@gmail.com
- the winner will recieve a free shirt with their design!
