Hello Student Organization Leaders!
The contents of this email will include instructions on how to gain credit for the asynchronous November Council of Organizations meeting. Only one member per organization must complete the asynchronous assignment. Your assignment will depend on whether you are a non-exclusive or exclusive organization.
Individual fraternity and sorority life chapters and honor societies are exempt from COO.

Non-Exclusive Organizations Eligible for SGA Funding (Most Orgs):
- If your organization is open to all students, you will complete the Budget Q and A assignment on D2L and score 100% on the corresponding quiz.
- Most student organizations are non-exclusive.
- The Budget Q and A assignment must be completed by Wednesday, November 13th at 12 PM for COO credit BUT it will remain open throughout April for budget request purposes.
- You can find the D2L course here.
- Click "Open Course," then select the "2025-2026 Budget Q and A"
- After completing the module, you will be directed to a quiz on RamConnect that you can take as many times as possible until you receive a 100%.
- Note: Your organization must complete both Treasurer Training and the Budget Q and A assignment and quiz to be eligible to request a budget for the 2025-2026 academic year.
- The actual budget request form will be sent out and open on December 2nd.
Exclusive Organizations NOT Eligible for SGA Funding and Individual Sports Clubs:
- If your organization is exclusive (meaning that a vote of the membership is required in order to grant membership to others) OR you request money from the Sports Club Council, you will complete a different assignment since you are not eligible for a budget through SGA.
- Examples include individual Sports Clubs, selective membership service organizations, and selective membership religious organizations.
- The Bylaw Audit Form assignment must be completed by Wednesday, November 13th at 12 PM for COO credit BUT it will remain open through January 27th regardless.
