SAVE THE DATE: August 29, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Sykes Student Union

You are invited to participate in The Gold Standard: Presidents Training, a mandatory leadership training designed specifically for Student Organization Presidents at WCU.

As the leader of your organization, you play an important role in shaping the student experience and strengthening our campus community. This training day is an opportunity to invest in your growth as a leader while enhancing the impact and success of your organization.

Throughout the day, you will engage in interactive workshops, gain practical leadership strategies, and connect with fellow student leaders from across campus. Together, we will explore best practices for organizational success, discuss important policies and expectations, and develop tools to help bring your organization’s vision to life.

Attendance is required for all Student Organization Presidents to ensure alignment with university expectations, procedures, and leadership standards for the upcoming academic year. Organizations that do not fulfill this requirement will be placed on Loss of Privileges status, which will impact their ability to access university resources, funding opportunities, event approvals, and other organizational privileges until the requirement has been satisfied.

Please complete your registration to confirm your attendance and reserve your spot by August 12th, 2026. Additional information regarding the schedule, location, and any preparation materials will be shared throughout this summer.

Note: Organization presidents are expected to attend. If the president is absolutely unable to do so, please contact engagement@wcupa.edu to discuss designating another executive board member to attend and receive attendance credit for the organization.
