he second annual "A Very Vegan Thanksgiving " was a hit! We all enjoyed so much amazing food and each others company. Thank you to all who came! Also a special thank you to @thegreyhoundcafe for catering part of the event. We appreciate everyone for bringing some great vegan food!
Thank you to all who came to our Fall Social event at Linvilla orchards! We had a great time with friends, old and new! Veg Out went on a hayride and had apple cider, vegan smores, and a bonfire.

Veg Out screened Dr. Gregers talk on "How not to die" and then had a live 30 Minute Q&A with him!
Dr. Greger is an American physician, author, and professional speaker on public health issues, best known for his advocacy of a whole-food, plant-based diet, and his opposition to animal-derived food products!
Educated at Cornell and Tufts.

Veg Out and SLYC joined forces to have an event with over 60 people! Taught by Yoga professional Kimberly Brock, we did Yoga for an hour, then enjoyed a vegan potluck for the rest of the night. The reason for this collaboration is Ahimsa: the precept of non-violence.

On September 15th, Veg Out hosted its first meeting of the Fall 2022 Semester! It was a very casual event with Vegan Ice Cream and fun lawn games!
On April 27th at 6 pm in the Sykes Student Union Theater, Veg Out, in collaboration with the West Chester University Investment Group, hosted Vegan Venture Capitalist and Consultant David Benzaquen.
David Benzaquen is one of the world's leading experts in the plant-based food industry. Among his experiences, he spent nearly a decade leading a corporate strategy consulting firm for plant-based consumer products, founded one of the first plant-based seafood companies, and has invested in a number of businesses in the space. David serves as an adviser with multiple food accelerators and venture capital funds and has spoken at conferences all over the world about the plant-based industry. He and his companies have been profiled in The New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Fast Company, Wired, Inc, CNN and more.
The event was also catered by The Greyhound Café and Love Again Local!

Veg Out worked with Aramark to bring some really amazing Vegan food to the dining hall for a night, including a Soba noodle salad, banh mi, and vegetable curry!
Dr. Subach and her team led Veg Out as we learned how to make a cauliflower rice burrito bowl! We also enjoyed a tonic "potion".
Veg Out Student helped garden the Village Clubhouse vegetable garden, as a way to give back to the school community!
Veg Out joined forces with the Art Club to do a Tote Bag painting night. We had over 80 students attend! Everyone enjoyed Vegan food and music as we painted! The sunset was a beautiful backdrop for the night!
Veg Out took a trip down to Malvern to visit the famous Greyhound Café! Joe Solar, the owner, and his team gave us a great night with a four course meal! The sense of community was amazing <3
Veg Out officers taught about how to be Vegan on a college budget, along with some recipes. We then had a few students go to the Couch Tomato in WC!
