Alumna Guest Speaker

Alexis Patrick, a WCU alumna spoke at one of our club events on the topic of navigating the professional world post-graduation, tips and tricks for aspiring actuaries, industry advice, and exam prep.

This event was a great way for our club members to expand their knowledge on the industry!

Actuary Society Winter Club Meeting 2024

Our WCU actuarial science students gained invaluable insights at the Actuaries Club of Philadelphia Winter meeting.

  • This involved attending multiple seminars concerning the Life and Health branches of actuarial science. A big thank you to Dr. Xu and the Actuary Society of WCU for support on this educational journey!

  • These club meetings aim to help colleagues in the actuarial profession stay up-to-date on current issues in the actuarial field. The meetings provide a great opportunity to meet the members of the local actuarial community. Presentations encourage members to generate discussions, to exchange ideas, and to make suggestions on a variety of topics.
