Kickboxing is great for cardio, strength, and self defense! In WCU Kickboxing Club, all skill levels are welcome and no experience is needed. Monday and Wednesday practices are led by some of our board members from 5:15 - 6:15pm. Tuesday and Thursday practices are led by a 3rd degree black belt instructor from 6 - 7pm. The Benefits

WCU Kickboxing Club is a great club to be a part of if you want to learn self defense, become stronger and more fit, meet other students with similar interests, and be taught by helpful instructors. Members will spend the hour of practice time doing several core and full body exercises, as well as being taught various types of punches and kicks to practice with their partner. Towards the middle of the semester, members will learn how to use those moves learned in practice to actually spar with one another (with gear on). Then, at the end of each semester, members will put all the skills they have learned to use by completing a belt test. After each semester of being committed to this club, members will come out more fit and more aware of how to correctly fight someone in competitions or real world self-defense scenarios.
