the RAMMYs

Must not contain any racist, homophobic, or patently offensive content. Additionally, no pornographic material or gore is permitted. (More mature narratives and language are permitted). Judges hold sole discretion over the enforcement of this guideline, and any film deemed to contain prohibited content will be disqualified without further consideration.

Additionally, all films must be no longer than 8 minutes, tell some form of narrative, and MUST contain credits listing everyone involved in the project.

All submissions must be received by March 20th and shared to BS969386@wcupa.edu via OneDrive.

Final scores will be submitted by the judges by April 1st, 2024 and the screening of all submitted films will take place on April 9th, 2024 in Sykes Theater.

The judges are an anonymous panel of students and faculty who will view and score each film based on a set of criteria, each film will be scored based off of Narrative, Sound Design, Cinematography and Editing. 

As a result, the highest score that could be earned on a film is 40 (Each category is ranked from 1-10 with 10 being the best quality). 

Additionally, the festival will feature a "Student's Choice Award." At the beginning of the festival, a QR code will be presented to audience members to a form where they can vote for their personal favorite film. Following the showing of the last film, we will enter a brief intermission to finish voting and choose the winner. The winner of the "Student Choice Award" will receive a special trophy!

Regarding prizes, the group that wins first place will earn a $200 Gift Card, 2nd place will receive $150, and 3rd $100.

Judges will not take into consideration any personally identifiable features of any persons viewable on screen, and will only identify the film by it's title
