Description of roles
Looking for collaborative and driven West Chester University Students to hold a semester-long Analyst or Sector Head position.
Requirements:
- Be a current West Chester University student
- All majors accepted
- Possess a desire to learn about fundamental investing
- Hold a baseline understanding of financial, economic, and accounting principles
- Be comfortable presenting to large groups
- Possess strong communication and collaborative abilities
Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:
- Attend Investment Group meetings every Monday evening at 7:30 pm
- Conducting bi-weekly research on current and prospective investments
- Presenting buy or sell Pitches for the growth and value funds
- Keeping up to date with financial markets & global economy
- Deepening your own financial knowledge to best serve yourself and the Investment Group
Executive Board Application
Positions available
President: Oversee all operations of the club. Be the main point person to the Club advisors, CBPM, and foundation.
Vice President: Aid the president in anything needed. Help the rest of the club effectively run by helping with any ad-hoc tasks that arise from any other position
Fund Manager(s): Lead all War Room meetings. Manage two equity based funds. Help lead educational materials.
Director of Marketing: Handle all emails, social media, and graphic creation
Director of Membership: Manage attendance and help plan events such as dinners and alumni nights
Treasurer: Manage the budget of the WCU Investment Group
